“Into The Heart” Cacao Ceremony & Kundalini Yoga
July 27, 2018 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Introduction to Kundalini Yoga followed by a Traditional South American Cacao Ceremony.
This two hour workshop is an invitation to explore and expand your heart and practice.
Kundalini Yoga utilizes specific asana (physical posture), mantra, breath work, and meditation to achieve a desired state in the form of a kriya. Each kriya is a specific set of exercises that generate energy, organize that energy and deliver you to a specific energetic state — particularly one of greater awareness. The kriya achieves the desired outcome by strengthening your nervous system, balancing your glandular system, purifying the body and calming the mind. The kriya we will be focusing on is for opening the heart center.
The Spirit of Cacao pairs unanimously with Kundalini. The Mayans called Cacao ‘The water that runs through the heart’. Chocolate is a Sacred, Medicinal, Psychoactive Plant and Theobroma. The cacao bean is full of antioxidants, fat, carbohydrates, protein, polyphenols, antioxidants, B vitimans, minerals like calcium, magnesium, zinc and potassium and oleic acid which is a heart-healthy essential monounsaturated fat.
Raw ceremonial cacao is a powerful heart opener that paves the way to transformation through self-love. Because of cacao’s ability to increase your connection to your inner self and your heart chakra(Anahata), it aids in any transformational shift you are working towards, whether you are looking to deepen your understanding of who you are, release old patterns and traumas, or move into a more self-confident space. Whatever your path, the intention is yours to set, and the cacao allows you to the insight and awareness to move towards that goal.
All that and it’s a rich, yummy, luxurious treat.
The cost for the Introduction to Kundalini Workshop and Cacao Ceremony is $35.00 for pre registration and $40.00 the day of.
“If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. He will put some things behind, will pass an invisible boundary; new, universal, and more liberal laws will begin to establish themselves around and within him; or the old laws be expanded, and interpreted in his favor in a more liberal sense, and he will live with the license of higher order of beings.” – Henry David Thoreau, Walden
